If
you smell a moldy odor,
then
you know you have mold!
The odor
of mold indicates there are thousands of live mold
spores floating in the air.
These spores
may be breathed in and cause illness, or aggravate pre-existing respiratory
conditions.
Untreated mold can make you permanently
ill, and devalue your home.
Ozone
helps purify areas that are infected with mold, black mold, and other offensive
bacteria by helping to kill the offending organisms.
High
Ozone Shock Treatments blasted into unoccupied rooms can safely
kill mold spores and sanitize infected areas.
Low levels of air
purification ozone can be used to kill airborne spores.
Ozone
can also be used at low levels to purify the air and eliminate mold odors.
Ozone
acts 3000 times faster than chlorine as a bactericide, and it is the strongest
oxidant commercially available for air & water treatment.

OZONE
IS VERY EFFECTIVE IN KILLING MOLD by the use of unoccupied room High
Ozone Shock Treatments. We show proof of this on our Ozone
Studies web page.
Mold needs three things to grow: Moisture,
a nutrient, and a warm environment over 60 degrees.
The nutrient might be wallboard, wood
studs, or even dead dried mold itself.
This is why spraying mold with bleach
is only a temporary solution.
Once the moisture and heat return the
mold can begin growing again.
Ozone can
kill mold on contact, even the loose spores you cannot see, in places you
cannot see.
That's why it can be a much more complete
cure than just using a bleach solution alone.
While UV
Ultraviolet in duct air purifiers are now
popular, their ozone output is very, very low.
Typically only
50 - 100 mg/hr or less.
UV ultraviolet
lamps are ineffective in killing mold and bacteria.
This is a direct quote from General
Electric, the manufacturer, concerning their germicidal UV lamps.
"Once mold has already formed, ultraviolet
energy will NOT eliminate it."

and the MISCONCEPTIONS that they are more
efficient in high humidity environments.
Our
Ozone outputs are rated in HIGH HUMIDITY
environments.
Killing
mold is easy with Kill Mold.
How
does Ozone work to kill mold?
Ozone
kills the offending organisms of mold and
bacteria.
As shown in the diagram
above, simple Oxygen molecules known as O2, can be turned into Ozone, O3,
by the introduction of the high voltage electrical charge given by a AirZone®
Ozone Generator.
Ozone which is
100% oxygen, is considered an unstable gas, meaning it cannot exist for
more than a very short time.
Very soon after
it is formed, nature forces the third oxygen atom of Ozone to break free,
and oxidize bacteria, viruses and pollutants.
Bacteria, viruses,
and mold are all destroyed by this process.
All that remains
after reactions with ozone are the harmless compounds of pure oxygen (O2),
carbon dioxide (CO2), and hydrogen (H2).
The introduction
of low levels of ozone leads to cleaner air to breathe.
Ozone
can be used at very low levels for air
purification, and at very high levels to perform
High
Ozone Shock Treatments that kill viruses,
bacteria, mold, and other germs.
Our machines are
much more than simple "air cleaners", they are also very powerful professional
tools for bacterial sterilization.
Ozone
can be used at very low levels for air purification, and at very high levels
to perform
High
Ozone Shock Treatments that
kill bacteria, & mold.
Our machines are
much more than simple "ionizers",
which do not have the ability to kill substantial amounts of bacteria.
The United States
Department of Agriculture states that ozone can kill 90% of
MOLD MYCOTOXINS.

Outdoor mold creeps
toward your house.

An AirZone®
Ozone Generator can produce high levels of ozone in unoccupied areas.

What
you need to know about
KILLING
MOLD!!!
| Stachybotrys
Chartarum - Toxic
Black Mold is a greenish black fungus found
worldwide.
It colonizes in
most building materials including, dry wall, carpeting, wall paper, fiber
board, ceiling tiles, and thermal insulation.
The fungus can
be wet and slimy to the touch. There are about 15 species of Stachybotrys
world-wide. This toxic mold
grows in any area that experiences a period of high moisture. |
|
|
Wherever
you live, this black mold could be found in your home.
Molds reproduce
by making spores that cannot be seen without magnification. Mold spores
waft through indoor and outdoor air continually.
When mold spores
land on a damp spot indoors, they begin growing and multiplying,
and soon the mold problem is out of control.
Many types of
molds exist. ALL MOLDS have the potential to cause health effects.
Exposure to certain
types of mold can cause permanent, irreversible lung and brain damage,
as reported in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Aspergillus niger
is a type of mold widespread to indoor environments. It causes breathing
problems and skin infections.
A one time flood
can lead to a permanent mold problem. Mold can be killed and it's growth
retarded by high doses of ozone.
Mold will NOT go away in it's own.
Prevent damage
to building materials and furnishings, save money, and avoid potential
health risks by preventing mold growth with
ozone.
A sensible mold remediation plan including
periodic
High
Ozone Shock Treatments help retard mold growth and eliminate
mold odors.
Mold and mildew
grow in dark and humid places where there is a lack of oxygen.
Molds produce
allergens that can trigger allergic reactions, and asthma attacks in people
who are allergic to mold.
If you smell mold
there are live mold spores floating in the air.
Breathing in
mold spores leads to respiratory distress.
If mold grows
out of control for a long period of time, the only solution may be condemning
the property, and burning the structure to the ground. This happens all
the time.
| The reduction
of moisture, the removal of all visible mold, along with the disinfection
of all surfaces with chlorine bleach and ozone,
is the best way to combat a mold problem.
The high
ozone blasting of unoccupied rooms, is the most effective method to
kill the mold in your home.
By the use of
a mold remediation plan, and an ozone
generator, mold growth can be controlled
in your home. |
